Sqiniseko Mpontshane a Mandla Mthethwa School of Excellence pupil, gained the interest of many with his incredible invention: an autonomous solar-powered vehicle. His accomplishment exemplifies what is possible when intelligence and determination come together.

His solar electric vehicle includes an innovative wireless trailer with a supercharging station for environmentally beneficial operations.
Sqiniseko is certain that his self-driving solar electric car concept will make an impact on the global arena, and he was able to demonstrate his creation at the International Science Technology Engineering Competition earlier this year.
The international event brought together young scientists from all over the world to compete and demonstrate their capacity to conduct new research.

In an interview, Sqiniseko highlighted the self-driving car's amazing characteristics and expressed pride in his innovation, which includes driving, electric, renewable energy, and solar modes.
A wireless trailer can be attached to the car without any physical attachments and produces movement from the main car, allowing them to follow each other. There is also a supercharging station, which can charge both the trailer and the automobile in less than 10 minutes.
